The season of love is upon us! What better way to make your kiddos feel special than with a heart shaped and sprinkle coated sandwich! You have to try a Valentine’s Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich!
Have you ever added sprinkles to your sandwiches? I say “WHY NOT?!” This is a fun way to make kids smile at lunch time. Making these cute Valentine’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches is easy and fun!
Ingredients
Gather up all of the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich ingredients. Also, grab a cute heart cookie cutter and some fun sprinkles!
Making the Sandwich
Spread the peanut butter and jelly on the bread. It is ok to avoid the edges, because they will end up trimmed off.
Close up the sandwich and cut out the center with your cookie cutter! Be careful not to smash the bread! Similar cookie cutter is linked here.
Dip the edges of the sandwich into the sprinkles. Open the sides of the sandwich a bit to fit extra sprinkles in! 🙂
Yum! The kids get such a kick out of these Valentine peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! Tuck them into a lunch box or serve them as a snack. PBJ works for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
These yummy treats would pair perfectly with Brittany’s Strawberry Whip Topped Milk! What a perfect snack!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
