Winter Fruit Salad

AuthorKellyDifficultyBeginner

This holiday salad is packed with fruit that is now in season and at peak flavor. Leave the berries for spring time and bring out this festive and healthy fruit salad. Kid approved!

Yields12 Servings
Prep Time10 minsTotal Time10 mins

 2 cups pineapple
 1 cup kiwi
1 cup mandarin oranges (canned or fresh clementines, aka Cuties)
 2 cups green grapes
 ½ cup pomegranate seeds

1

Prepare all fruit by slicing or chopping.

2

Do not be intimidated by the pomegranate! Simply slice down the middle and scoop out seeds.

3

Be careful...It is a messy job but the sweet seeds and pretty color it adds to the salad are worth it!

4

Mix all fruit together just before serving. I find that this is perfectly sweet enough, but feel free to drizzle the top with the mandarin orange juice, fresh orange juice or a bit of poppy seed dressing. Enjoy!
