Let’s celebrate Valentine’s Day with a super simple and fun treat! Try making our Valentine’s Day Bark today!
Who doesn’t want a sweet and easy snack to celebrate the holiday of love? Look no further- we have a cute and easy treat in this festive Valentine’s Day Bark.
First, gather these quick ingredients. Go ahead and grab the good chocolate– the Ghirardelli in this melts beautifully and tastes so good! Extra topping options you may consider are Oreos, peanuts, pretzels, or mini marshmallows.
Cover the entire bottom of a jelly roll pan (approximately 10″ x 15″) with graham crackers. Push them in close…we want a good, crunchy base.
Next, top the grahams with Wilton candy melts and the Ghirardelli chocolate melts. Make sure that you spread the pieces out so that they have room to heat and melt evenly.
Then pop the whole tray into a preheated 275 degree oven. Check the melts often, but they will only need around 3-5 minutes to melt.
Once your chocolate candies have melted, they will easily spread with a butter knife. You can spread the chocolate over the graham crackers in any design that you like.
Once the grahams are covered with melty goodness, it is time to top the bark! Grab any toppings that you like and sprinkle them onto the chocolate while it is still warm.
After you have added all of your yummy toppings, place the entire pan into the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Check that the chocolate has fully hardened before you remove it.
Then simply break the sheet of grahams into individual pieces. Some will be large and some will break into smaller pieces. Either way, it is delicious and will be gone in no time at all!
