It is almost trick or treat time! Halloween is such a favorite of mine! Our house is on the edge of a busy trick or treating subdivision. Every year we have a little party at our house while the kids run the neighborhood. The parents can trick or treat for an adult beverage and the kids overload on candy.
On the menu for trick or treat night is my famous potato soup (recipe to come)! Plus this year I am adding a special treat for my little goblins…a Halloween float!
If you have read any of my previous posts, you may be surprised that this treat is a bit on the lighter side! Most of my recipes use heavy cream and butter?…but for this I used diet soda and frozen yogurt. Crazy, I know!
This recipe is super simple and can be customized with whatever you have on hand. Throw in some extra Halloween candy and enjoy. I found myself sneaking a lot of sips when I was making these for my crew last weekend. Not too overly sweet!
2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
32 fl oz diet orange soda
halloween sprinkles
1
Scoop 2-3 scoops of frozen yogurt into a glass.
2
Slowly pour orange diet soda over the yogurt.
3
Top with sprinkles, whipped cream, marshmallows or candy. Sip sip hooray!
