Ingredients Needed to make Rice Krispies Treat Cones
- 6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- 15 ounces of Marshmallows
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- White Almond Bark
- 10 Cones
- Red, White and Blue Sprinkles
How to Make Rice Krispies Treat Cones
1. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the white almond bark in 30-second intervals until completely melted, stirring in between. Dip the top of each cone in the almond bark, letting the excess drip off. Dip in sprinkles and fully coat. Place the dipped cones in the freezer for a few minutes to harden.
2. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the marshmallows and butter. Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes, until the butter is melted and the marshmallows puff up. Stir the mixture thoroughly, then mix in the Rice Krispies. Let cool in the bowl.
3. Place some of the Rice Krispies mix into the base of the cone. Using your hands, (may need to lightly coat with butter if mixture sticks to your hands), scoop out Rice Krispies mix and form into the shape of an ice cream scoop. Press onto the cone.
4. Enjoy a mess-free Rice Krispies Treat cone.
