Rice Krispies Treat Cones

Patriotic Rice Krispies Ice Cream Cones

 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
 15 oz Marshmallows
 3 tbsp Butter
 White Almond Bark or Candy Coating
 10 Cake Cones
 Sprinkles

In a microwave safe bowl, melt the white almond bark or candy coating in 30-second intervals until completely melted, stirring in between.

Dip the top of each cone in the melted almond bark, letting the excess drip off. Dip in sprinkles and coat well.

Place the dipped cones in freezer for a few minutes to harden.

In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the marshmallows and butter. Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes, until the butter is melted and the marshmallows puff up. Stir the mixture thoroughly, then mix in the Rice Krispies. Let cool in the bowl.

Place a little of the Rice Krispies mix into the base of the cone to fill. Using your hands, form Rice Krispies mix into the shape of an ice cream scoop. Press onto the cone.
