A Klein family tradition! Who wouldn't love these?

For the Potatoes

2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

⅔ cup minced onion

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded.

½ cup butter, melted

2 cups sour cream

1 can cream of chicken condensed soup

For the topping

¼ cup melted butter

2 cups crushed corn flakes

In large mixing bowl combine potatoes, salt, pepper, onion, and cheese.

In medium bowl combine 1/2cup melted butter, sour cream, and soup. Pour this over the potato mixture and stir gently.

Pour into a buttered 9x13 casserole dish.

In small bowl, combine topping ingredients. Toss to mix. Sprinkle over potatoes.

Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. The will be very hot coming out of the oven and should be left to cool for 15 minutes. Yum!
