Homemade Dog Biscuits

Homemade Dog Treats

 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
 1 cup oats
 1 tsp salt
 2 tbsp olive oil
 2 eggs
 ¾ cup beef broth
 ½ cup smooth peanut butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together flour, oats and salt in a large bowl.

In another bowl, whisk oil, eggs, beef broth and peanut butter until combined.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until blended.

Dust some flour onto your counter and, using a rolling pin, roll out dough to about 1/2 inch thickness.

Using a dusted cookie cutter, cut out as many biscuits as possible. Transfer biscuits to a cookie sheet. Re-roll dough and repeat process for remaining dough.

Bake the biscuits for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. (Baking time may depend on the size of your cookie cutter.) Turn off the oven, crack the door open and let the biscuits dry out in the oven for 1-2 hours.

Store dried and cooled biscuits in an airtight container for up to one month.
