It is hard to believe that the kids have been out of school for over a month already! That means that it’s almost the 4th of July! It is the perfect excuse to gather in someone’s backyard to celebrate with a cookout, which means you are probably trying to decide what food you should make. If you are like me and have a major sweet tooth, there is no question about it that you are going to make a dessert!
I mean, let’s be honest, I am there for the desserts! If I could pile my plate(s) high with every single dessert, I would be one happy girl! You know that scene in Charlotte’s Web where Templeton is having a smorgasbord at the fair? That is similar to the scene that plays in my head as I make my way over to check out the desserts. I have not met a dessert that I do not like!
Because of my love for desserts — which, I think is a family trait that I inherited! My grandma always had a different baked good waiting for us to give her our approval, and my mom was always sneaking an extra piece of pie or cookie — I always bake up something sweet for get-togethers! I have rounded up 25 of my favorite festive desserts that will help bring a bang to your celebration.
